Personal Injury Trust

Overview

Frenkel Topping was one of the first to pioneer the Personal Injury Trust in the UK. A PI Trust is a trust fund that helps protect means tested local authority funding and care. A PI Trust receives the same tax allowances as an individual and it is ignored by local authorities. Frenkel Topping will open a trust bank account for the Claimant, and all PI Trust fees will be deferred until settlement.

We will also write to relevant benefits offices.

Trust for Minors

Overview

A Trust for a Minor helps those under the age of 18 to avoid losses and unnecessary risks using the Court Funds Office to maximise their investment potential. A TFM protects minors from potential financial abuse and provides the option to convert a TFM into a PI Trusts once the Claimant reaches adulthood. This offers the Claimant financial protection throughout their lifetime. Using this service Clients will have access to wider investment offerings, which a Frenkel Topping adviser will guide you through with regular reviews.
